BREAKING - Paccione Announces 4th CD Bid
State Representative Angie Paccione announced her bid for the Fourth Congressional District today, challenging right-wing idologue Marilyn Musgrave.
Here's excerpts from the release from the Paccione campaign:
State Representative Angie Paccione today announced her candidacy for Congress from Colorado’s 4th Congressional District.“The people of the 4th CD cannot endure another term of Marilyn Musgrave,” said Paccione. “She has grown too close to the special interests in Washington, leaving her out of touch with the people here at home, and distracted from the critical issues facing America and this state. She had an opportunity to make a difference in Washington, and she has failed.”

Paccione decided to run for Congress when she concluded that Musgrave has abandoned the people who sent her to Washington. Particularly alarming is her penchant for siding with big money and special interests, her extremist positions, and her unflinching loyalty to scandal-tainted House Speaker Tom DeLay of Texas.
Musgrave recently provided the pivotal vote to pass CAFTA — trade legislation that threatens the very livelihood of the 4th District’s sugar beet farmers.
“The people of the 4th District are smart, and they now see Musgrave for what she is — a partisan, out-of-touch puppet for the special interests in Washington D.C.,” said Paccione. “I look forward to debating her before bipartisan audiences early and often on the issues most important to Colorado families - issues that really matter — and on her poor record in Congress.”

katrina revealed some horrid truths...
how poorest of the poor are affected
by the nonresponse or actions of no
inclusion by the local/state,national government...among them:people with
disabilities....the'mercy'killings
by desparate medical staff at gang-
invested hospitals, the helpless,
frail elderly, severely-disabled,
terminally ill & dying...the nursing
homeowners with blood on their hands by
leaving behind their most helpless
residents...left behind oldpeople,
poverty-stricken single parents with
kids, whole families...
& now the scariest thing is john roberts
supremecourt justice nomination by the
very same anti-disabled government
that wants to curther tear up the shattered
fragments of the americans with disabilities
act with a nominee with a track record of
denying disabled/deaf/old people their
right under law! we must demand an extensive
accounting & not rest until this idiot is
railroaded & the a.d.a is restsored to its complete orginal form of 1990. if this kind of
ongoing attacks from all sides had happened
to any other group or'minority'there would have
been such an outcry that would've stopped it in
its tracks...what are we diabled/deaf/eldery
people? just another cashcow for conservatives
to milk when ever they want? how long will we
continue to be robbed of our civilrights by an
extemeist court, congress & president? all in
the name of the corporate grabbing after the
almight buck?????
