More Details on the 2005 Democratic Summit
The State Party has just released a better description of the Democratic Summit later this month:
Dear Fellow Democrat,Please join the State Party, along with our Democratic leadership, U S Senator Ken Salazar, Congresswoman Diana DeGette, Congressman Mark Udall, Congressman John Salazar, State Senate President Joan Fitz-Gerald, Speaker of the House Andrew Romanoff and many others for a Democratic Summit, August 26-28, 2005 in Colorado Springs at the Sheraton Hotel, 2886 S. Circle Drive.
During the 2 1/2 days, we will provide several training workshops, the state central committee will be meeting on Saturday, and a half day devoted solely to the Referendum C & D Campaign.
Attached is a tentative agenda that we currently working on, however, this is subject to change. Topics were chosen based on general interest from surveys from fellow Democrats.
This weekend is slated to be fun and informative gathering of elected officials, 2006 Candidates and special guests.
If you are interested in attending, please go the website and register no later than Monday, August 22, 2005.
